Lietuva yra tikras ežerų kraštas. Didesnių nei 0,5 ha ežerų yra apie 2800, bendras jų plotas – net 880 km². Be to, dar yra daugiau kaip 3000 mažesnių ežerų ir ežerėlių. Pats didžiausias Lietuvos ežeras – Drūkšių, giliausias – Tauragnas, o ilgiausias – Asveja.

3,000 lakes

Lithuania truly is the land of lakes. There are approximately 2,800 lakes in the country with an area bigger than 0.5 hectares, and their total area is 880 km². In addition, Lithuania has more than 3,000 smaller lakes. The biggest lake in the country is Drūkšiai, the deepest is Tauragnas, and the longest is Asveja.
